TUI
TUI fly direct (6 hours) to and from Gatwick to Banjul every Tuesday and Friday. I've added the TUI flights to the calendar because (a) the dates work well Tuesday to Tuesday for a 7 night stay with our wedding weekend in the middle (b) they're the cheapest option and (c) they're willing to do group discounts, particularly for flights+hotel packages. Price per person for flights-only on these dates should be around £670. Please contact us and we can tap them up for a group discount once numbers are confirmed, and they've told us we're likely to get bigger discounts if people go for package rather than flights-only.
GAMBIA EXPERIENCE
Gambia Experience fly direct (6 hours) from Gatwick to Banjul every Tuesday and Friday. They're reliable and more expensive. Their prices are around £980 including 23kg baggage. They're not willing to do discounts up front, but they do release discounted Easter rates every year around February time, if you're comfortable waiting till a few months before the wedding to make your booking.
VUELING
Vueling fly indirect to Banjul and are the cheapest option. Their journey times are around 11 hours on average. This could be a good option for anyone turning this trip into a longer holiday, as after a long journey like that you do need a day or so to take it easy.
FLYING FROM MANCHESTER
TUI runs direct flights from Manchester to Banjul and back. Their flight days for this are Thursday and Sunday. So if you were looking to come for a 4-day whistle-stop tour, you could fly from Manchester, arrive on the Thursday, attend the traditional wedding on Friday, the white wedding on Saturday, catch your flight back on Sunday and you'd land into Manchester on Monday at 3am.
